The Nemedussa project includes the establishment of a Pan-African Nematology Network (Panema) and aims to promote networking and academic exchange between nematologists in Africa, who are often working in isolation (Cortada et al. 2019). The focus will be on sharing good educational practices, creating networks between HEIs to apply for educational projects and additional learning opportunities. The 1st PANEMA workshop took place in Eldoret, Kenya from 23-25 February 2022.
The 2nd PANEMA workshop will take place from 1-3 March 2023 in Mbombela, South Africa and is hosted by associated partner, the University of Mpumalanga. More information can be found here – registrations are open!
