In February, the NEMEDUSSA partners in Nigeria – the University of Ibadan (UI) and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) – conducted trial runs of the developed NEMEDUSSA BSc modules. From 12-16 February, Prof. Abiodun Claudius-Cole (UI) hosted Dr. Julius Bulus (ABU) and peer Prof. Hugues Baimey from Parakou University (Benin), as they tested the material at Ibadan University. The laboratory materials provided by the NEMEDUSSA project was used during the testing. From 26 to 29 February, the trial runs continued at the Institute for Agricultural Research, ABU, where Dr. Bulus in turn hosted Prof. Claudius-Cole. By testing the materials at various institutes, the trial runs not only ensure the quality of the developed materials, but also provide an opportunity for local and regional partners to strengthen their trust and collaboration in education. The feedback received on the trial runs will be incorporated into the final e-book, one of the main outputs of the NEMEDUSSA project.
