is a Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences of Moi University teaching amongst others nematology related courses at both under-graduate and post-graduate levels. He received a BSc degree in Horticulture from Moi University, an MSc degree in Nematology and a PhD degree in Applied Biological Sciences both from Ghent University. Dr Njira is the South Coordinator of the VLIR-UOS TEAM 2019 KE2019TEA488A103 project on nematodes of finger millet. In this NEMEDUSSA project, Dr. Njira will be the Principal Investigator responsible for coordination of project activities.
